The pupils spent a few days in Särkijärvi in a camping centre, Jan. 16.-18. 2007. This was their programme:
- survival skills: using a "puukko"-knife and lighting a camp fire
- downhill at the sandpit mountains
- "trip around the world" by snow shoes via the Jäggevaara eternal glacier, the North Pole, the Alps and Mount Kilimanjaro
- joint activities: laying the breakfast table together, the pupils tied together with a rope,
  morning exercises with feet tied together
- preparing food together: peeling potatoes, making meatballs,/ taking turns to wash up
- songs and games - camp initiation rite in a dark forest:
  the pupils made the journey together to a follow-the-rope
- control point: detective game: who’s been in the room?, ‘war paint’ for the journey,
  searching for moonstones in accordance with given directions,
  helping a fox out of a metal trap,
  do you dare put your finger in the ‘pike’s mouth’,
  saving the world by cracking a secret code
- going to the sauna
